Wooden Sliding Doors
Offering some of the slimmest sightlines possible, our wooden sliding doors offer a refreshing alternative to more traditional models. At Livingwood we sell lift-and-slide and tilt-and-slide timber doors that are some of the most versatile on the market. They are designed to blend seamlessly with the other windows and doors of your property, ensuring a cohesive design that adds tremendous value to your property. We don’t just manufacture stock sizes too: our non-standard range can deliver sliding doors up to 20 metres wide to meet the most challenging property renovation briefs.Anchor
extremely airtight designs
Our lift-and-slide doors in particular are designed to offer excellent airtight bonds that result in impressive energy performance and minimise draughts. Utilising a lever system, when the opening handle is rotated through 180 degrees the entire door lifts up off its seals and glides along with ease. This allows for both very large and heavy sliding units to move with minimal effort, and when the door stops it drops back down onto its seals forming another airtight bond.
variety of glazing options
Our sliding doors can accept glass in glazing packages with U-values from 1.0 W/m²k down to 0.4 W/m²K. Each door we manufacture is designed to the exact specifications our clients require. So whether you require solar control to regulate room temperatures, anti-burglary treatment for that extra layer of security or obscured glazing for privacy, we can create your ideal bespoke sliding door.
WOODEN LIFT & SLIDE DOORS
Unlike traditional sliding doors the Livingwood Windows lift and slide range utilises a lever system to lift the door and slide effortlessly while creating an airtight seal when shut.
WOODEN TILT SLIDE DOORS
Unlike traditional sliding doors our range utilises a dual position system which is particularly useful in balcony situations
I am just dropping you a line to say many thanks for your excellent service and quality product. You were the only window suppliers who were prepared to take on our sliding door design for which we are very grateful... the house would not be quite the same without them. We had a very slight problem with one of the upstairs windows which was sorted out very promptly to our complete satisfaction. The electrician damaged a wooden internal beading and you replaced that free of charge.
