The buzz word at the moment is sustainability; what does it mean? Livingwood Windows believes that when meeting the requirements of the present we do it without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
This has been our policy during the sourcing and manufacturing of our windows and doors. All timber is from a well managed forest that has FSC certification. Our manufacturing plant, uniquely, is surrounded by the trees used in the production of our windows; as such the raw material travels very few miles before production. The wood is processed on site, all laminating is done in house and all waste wood is used to heat our factory, thus reducing the carbon footprint of all our windows and doors.
